The **Calendar** page shows your meetings and your scheduled work in one place. Use it to plan your day, find free time, and create events in Google Calendar.

## Before you start

- To see meetings, find free time, or create events, connect Google Calendar. See [Google](https://docs.tulipfarm.ai/integrations/google/).
- To create an event, you need owner or writer access to that Google calendar.

## What the calendar shows

Select **Calendar** in the sidebar, under **Daily work**. The calendar combines four kinds of items:

| Item | What it is |
| --- | --- |
| Google Calendar events | The meetings and events from the Google calendars that you connected. |
| Scheduled agents | The runs of [agents](https://docs.tulipfarm.ai/concepts/agents-skills-and-workflows/) that have a schedule. |
| Workflows you follow | The scheduled runs of workflows that you follow. Your own workflows are always included. |
| Pending work | Tasks and approvals that do not have a scheduled time. |

## Move around the calendar

| Control | What it does |
| --- | --- |
| View menu | Shows the calendar as **Day**, **Week**, **Month**, or **Agenda**. |
| **Today** | Goes back to today. |
| Previous and next arrows | Move back or forward one day, week, or month. |
| Month and year title | Opens a date picker so that you can go to a date. |
| **Filters** | Chooses which events and time zones to show. |
| **Pending work** | Lists tasks and approvals that need your attention. |
| **Find time** | Finds free time in your connected calendars. |
| **Search** | Finds an event in the current view. |
| **Create** | Starts a new Google Calendar event. |

Select an item on the calendar to see its details.

### Filter the calendar

Select **Filters** to open **Calendar filters**.

- Under **Event types**, choose **Meetings**, **Tasks**, **Agent runs**, or **Workflow runs**.
- Under **Google calendars**, choose which connected calendars to show.
- Under **Time zones**, choose the **Calendar time zone**. You can add a **Second time zone** to compare times.
- Select **Follow workflows** to add the schedules of other workflows to your calendar. Following a workflow does not give you access to it.
- Select **Clear filters** to show everything again.

### Review pending work

Select **Pending work** to see tasks and approvals without a scheduled time. Select an item to open it. To plan time for a task, select **Reserve time**. This opens a new event for that task.

## Find free time

1. Select **Find time**.

2. Choose the **Day**.

3. Choose the **Duration**: **30 minutes**, **1 hour**, or **90 minutes**.

4. Look at the free times. TulipFarm searches from 9 AM to 6 PM in your calendar time zone.

5. Select a free time to start an event at that time.

How **Find time** works:

- It checks all of your connected Google calendars, including the calendars that you hid with filters.
- Scheduled agents and workflows do not block time.
- It does not check the availability of your guests.
- It shows free time from the last time the calendars loaded. A calendar can change before you book.

## Create an event

TulipFarm does not add the event immediately. It shows you the exact event first, and sends it to Google only after you approve it.

1. Select **Create**.

2. In **Event name**, type a name.

3. Choose the **Calendar**. The list shows only the calendars where you have owner or writer access.

4. Choose the **Date**.

5. Choose the **Start** and **End** times, or select **All day**.

6. Optional: choose how the event repeats in **Repeat**.

7. Optional: in **Guests**, type email addresses. Put a comma between each address.

8. Optional: type **Notes**.

9. Select **Review event**.

10. Read the **Details** of the event.

11. Select **I reviewed Details and authorize this exact change**.

12. Select **Approve exact Google action**.

13. Select **Execute approved Google action** to send the event to Google.

To cancel the event, select **Reject Google action** instead of **Approve exact Google action**. Guests get an invitation only after you select **Execute approved Google action**. To learn more, see [Approvals](https://docs.tulipfarm.ai/concepts/approvals/).

> **Note:** If you close the **Create event** panel, TulipFarm keeps your draft on the page.

## Use the calendar without Google

If you did not connect Google Calendar, the calendar shows this message: "Connect Google Calendar to add meetings and find free time." Select **Open connections** to connect it.

Without Google Calendar, you still see your scheduled agents, the workflows that you follow, and your pending work. You cannot see meetings, find free time, or create events.
