# Analytics and cookies

Analytics in TulipFarm are optional. They stay off until you allow them.

## What the analytics banner asks

TulipFarm shows a banner that asks about optional analytics. The analytics cover three things:

- Usage analytics
- Masked session replay
- Error reports

Private inputs and workspace content are hidden.

## Make your choice

- Select **Allow analytics** to turn on optional analytics.
- Select **Reject analytics** to keep them off.

If you see an **Analytics** setting under **Preferences** on the **Account** page, you can change your choice there.

## Analytics on this docs site

This docs site shows the same banner. Your choice applies to the TulipFarm website, this docs site, and the app.

If you allow analytics, the docs site records these things:

- The pages that you visit
- Your answer to **Was this page helpful?**
- When you select **Copy page**

The docs site does not record what you type in the search box.

## Do Not Track

TulipFarm respects the Do Not Track setting in your browser. If your browser sends it, the banner says "Your browser requests no tracking. Optional analytics stay off." Optional analytics then stay off.

## Settings saved in your browser

Some settings are saved in your browser, not in your account:

- Your theme choice (System, Light, or Dark)
- The last workspace that you used, which opens when you go to app.tulipfarm.ai
