Meet Bud
Bud is your built-in personal assistant in each TulipFarm workspace. It guides your first steps, offers suggestions, and learns how you like replies.
Bud is your built-in personal assistant in each workspace. Bud is not a saved agent. You do not need to set it up.
What Bud does
Section titled “What Bud does”- Bud guides you through your first use of TulipFarm.
- Bud offers suggestions for your next step.
- Bud learns your reply preferences.
Open Bud
Section titled “Open Bud”Bud appears as a small floating window. Bud uses your own private chat.
- To open Bud, select Open Bud.
- To close it, select Minimize Bud.
- To move Bud, drag it to another corner of the screen.
Suggestions
Section titled “Suggestions”Bud shows a suggestion in a small bubble. Select Let’s do it to accept the suggestion, or select Dismiss.
Bud waits at least 30 minutes between suggestions. You can also snooze suggestions for the day, or turn them off.
Personal memory
Section titled “Personal memory”Personal memory is your saved reply preferences in one workspace. Only you see it. Bud can learn preferences from your closed private chats.
To change your personal memory:
- Select your name at the bottom of the sidebar.
- Select Account settings.
- Find the Personal memory section.
- Type your preferences in Your preferences.
- Select Save memory.
You can use Markdown, up to 10,000 characters. For example: “Use short replies with emojis.”
Your manual changes take priority over what Bud learned from older chats. To clear your memory, remove the text and select Save memory.

Section titled “Credits”Bud uses workspace credits to reply.
