Connect Slack so that people can ask agents in Slack channels. Link your own Slack account so that agents act for you.

Connect Slack so that people in your workspace can ask agents for help in Slack channels. A Slack connection is shared with selected people and teams.

  • Read messages in channels that TulipFarm is added to.
  • Post replies and direct messages.
  • Add emoji reactions.
  • Run channel agents. A channel agent answers people in one Slack channel.

A Slack connection is shared with selected people and teams. Connection managers control sharing in the Sharing section of the Slack panel.

  2. Open the link to the Connect your Slack identity page.

  3. Select Sign in with Slack.

  4. Sign in as the same Slack user who sent the message.

An agent manager attaches an agent to a Slack channel on the agent’s Slack tab. The agent can answer every new message or only messages that tag it.

  • A linked Slack user who is a current workspace member can ask the agent in its channel.
  • The agent’s run belongs to the person who asked.
  • An agent manager can limit which Slack channels the agent uses, on the Execution tab.

For the full setup, see Schedule an agent.
